Neural Networks: Code and Train Your Own

Self-paced · About 18 hours · Final assessment within 3 weeks of unlocking · 100% online

Neural networks are the engine of deep learning and modern AI. In this level you build one yourself: weights, activation, error and a training loop, all in Python, so you understand what happens inside the models behind today's AI tools.

What you will be able to do

  • Explain how an artificial neuron makes a decision
  • Code weights, bias and an activation function
  • Measure error and update weights in a training loop
  • Train a network and track its improvement
  • Connect your network to how deep learning works at scale
Level project: A neural network, coded and trained by you, that learns to classify examples.
