How to choose a course, apply and pay, on the school website
Everything in this orientation happens on the school website. It takes you from choosing a course to a confirmed registration.
You do not need to sign in to start. Anyone can begin an enrolment. You create your account details as part of the registration form.
Once your registration is confirmed, your access to the student learning portal opens on the start date of your session. The second orientation, Using Your Learning Portal, takes over from there.
Read these four things before you open any form.
Open the school website and choose Enrol. The buttons beside it take you to the course list, how courses are delivered, the course prerequisites, and the adult learning page if you are eighteen or over.
No sign in is needed to look around or to begin.

The school has a registered course catalogue of 26 secondary credits. For the startup cycle a primary cohort of fully prepared courses is being delivered, each a full 1.0 credit, and every one of those runs online in every session.
In class at the Vaughan campus you work through the same online course under supervision, and a selection of courses runs that way each session. You see which ones, with the seats remaining, while you enrol.

The Courses and prerequisites page lists every course with its code, its grade, its type and the course you must have completed first, exactly as the Ministry states it.
Grade 9 courses have no prerequisite. Most Grade 11 and 12 courses require a specific earlier course, and a few carry an eligibility rule instead.

Two routes, one form. Choose by where you will be studying from, not by your nationality.
The whole process is online. There is nothing to print, nothing to post and nothing to hand in.
Domestic Enrolment is for you if your status in Canada is Canadian citizen, Canadian permanent resident, protected person or refugee claimant.
International Enrolment is for everyone else, including students in Canada on a temporary status such as a study permit or a visitor record, and foreign nationals living outside Canada.

The page walks through the form before you open it: open the intake form, fill in your details, upload your documents, choose your course and session and format, then pay and check your email.
Your details include your name, date of birth, email address, telephone number and home address, and your Ontario Education Number if you already have one. If you are under 18 your parent or guardian details are asked for as well.

Online study can be done from anywhere in the world, including your home country, and nothing Canadian is needed while you are outside Canada. In person study at the Vaughan campus requires you to be in Canada for the whole session and to hold a valid Canadian status that permits you to study here.
The course itself is identical in both formats: the same course, the same teacher, the same 110 scheduled hours, the same assessments and the same credit.

The student registration intake form sits at the foot of your route page. Choose the intake option that applies to you, press NEXT, and work through the form.
Your place is not held until the payment goes through. A confirmation email arrives straight away, so check your junk or spam folder as well, and add the school address to your safe senders list.

The page sets out six steps and marks which are yours and which are the school's:

Fees, your signed consent form, and the package that arrives before your session begins.
One fee covers the whole course. Tuition includes registration, your Ontario Student Record, your transcript and online examination proctoring.
You pay in two parts. The registration fee is due when you submit the intake form, and it counts toward your tuition rather than adding to it. The balance is invoiced with your offer letter once your application is approved, and it is due no later than seven days before your session starts.

Your Registration, Enrolment and Ontario Student Record Consent Form is emailed to you, already filled in from your registration. Sign it electronically, or print it, sign it by hand and scan or photograph it. If the student is under 18, a parent or guardian must sign as well.
Return it through the upload page linked in the same email. Enter the student reference number exactly as it appears at the top of the form, enter the student name, and upload the completed form. A single PDF is preferred, every page must be included, and every signature must be visible.

Once you are signed in to the school website, it shows you the status page for the stage you have reached. There are four:
Each page lists what has been received and what is still outstanding, so check it before you email to ask.

Before your session begins you will have your student course outline, the course syllabus, your session timetable, the minimum system and software requirements, access to the student learning portal, an explanation of the four weekly milestones, the school course calendar, and the school's policies.
Read the minimum requirements early. If your computer or connection does not meet them, tell the school office before your session starts.

The Contact Us page carries the telephone number and a separate route for admissions and enrolment, the school office and records, fee payment instructions, and campus visits.
Admissions and enrolment questions are answered within 24 to 48 business hours. Campus visits are by appointment.
