One fee covers the whole course. Am-Can Business & Tech School publishes every amount it charges on this page. There are no application fees, no material fees, no examination fees and no transcript fees.

1. What tuition covers
One fee covers the whole course. It includes registration, the establishment or request of your Ontario Student Record, your transcript, and online examination proctoring.
Writing your examination on site at the Vaughan campus under staff invigilation instead costs nothing extra.
The in person rate additionally covers supervised campus access and the use of school computers.

All amounts are in Canadian dollars, per 1.0 credit course. A student takes one course per session, and each session is six study weeks against 110 scheduled instructional hours.
Opening offer. The first five enrolments in selected grade sessions are free, for students studying from within Canada, from 24 August to 14 September 2026. After that, and for any place beyond the first five in a grade, the rates above apply.

These apply only to optional services, and only if you ask for them.

There is no fee for the transfer of an Ontario Student Record to another school, and no fee for a transcript.
Back to the top4. When you pay, and refunds
You pay when you register, at the point of completing the registration form. Your application is assessed after that, not before. If your application is not approved you are refunded in full, with no deduction.

Fees are reviewed annually and any change is published on this page before it takes effect. A change applies to new registrations from the date it is published.
A change to published fees does not affect a course you have already paid for. Your rate for that course is fixed at the amount you paid.
Back to the topHow courses are delivered: the two attendance formats
Every course at this school is delivered online and asynchronously. There are no set class times. The school offers two attendance formats and the student chooses one at enrolment. Every one of the school's 26 courses is available in both formats in every session, and a student may ask to change format between sessions.

Learning is asynchronous: materials are released weekly in the student portal and there is no requirement to be online at any set time. The assigned Ontario Certified Teacher makes individual contact with the student every week. |
| In class, supervised on-site study at the Vaughan campus | The student attends the campus and works through the same asynchronous online course in a classroom or the computer room, with school staff present to supervise and to assist. School computers are available, so a student in this format does not need to provide their own equipment. |
The course is identical in both formats: the same learning portal, the same unit materials, the same 110 scheduled instructional hours, the same weekly milestones and deadlines, the same assessments and rubrics, the same assigned Ontario Certified Teacher, and the same final mark composition. The format determines where a student studies, not what the course is or how it is taught. Students in both formats share one cohort discussion forum.
Attendance at the Vaughan campus is a facility the school provides, not a requirement of any course. A student in the on-site format who studies remotely on a given day is not marked absent and loses no mark, because attendance at this school means completion of the weekly milestones, not physical presence. No course requires a student to be physically present at any time, except where the student chooses to write the final examination on site. Every course therefore remains an online learning credit under Policy/Program Memorandum 167 in both formats.
